Each question shows a national flag in its official proportions, so a square or unusually long flag is itself a clue. You choose from four countries: the answer, up to three neighbours in the same region, and, if the flag has a well-known lookalike, usually that lookalike too, from our guide to similar flags. One point per correct answer; the streak counts correct answers in a row.
Two pairs are never offered against each other: Romania and Chad, and Indonesia and Monaco. On a screen, the only differences are a shade of blue or the flag’s proportions, which is not a fair test of knowledge.
