The flag of San Marino has two equal horizontal stripes: white on top and sky blue on the bottom. At the center sits the country's coat of arms, showing three towers topped with ostrich plumes standing on Monte Titano, encircled by a wreath of laurel and oak, with the word "Libertas" (Liberty) on a ribbon beneath.

White and blue represent, respectively, the clouds and the sky surrounding Monte Titano, the peak on which this small state sits.
